Hypapante church
Timoxenus Street
Hypapante church is located in the area of Campielo, on Timoxenus Street. It is a single-aisled basilica, constructed in the late 16th century. According to certain documents, it was a synodal church. It declined after 1800 and in 1770 the majority of its sacred relics had already been stolen. The church suffered considerable damage during World War II bombing and was then reconstructed.
